  1. Wow! New York Dolls from 1973. I’ve never seen that video. One of the most influential proto-punk bands. You guys liked that a lot more than I expected. If you want to explore punk music then starting at the beginning was a good plan. I think you’ll be happier listening to The Smiths or The Ramones. IDK which would be the best choices. I don’t listen to old punk very often.

  3. The lead singers name is David Johansen as well as being a singer songwriter was also an actor he played the Ghost of Christmas Past in the Bill Murray film Scrooged. Although I never listen to the New York Dolls I’m more familiar with his other personality he did which was Buster Poindexter we’re he did covers of songs such as Hit the Road Jack and hot hot hot
