fastFORWARD leads the way
fastFORWARD, the UK road transport and logistics industry's first dedicated training and careers magazine received a tremendous reception at the CV and AT Show last week and it now has a website: www.fastforwardcareers.co.uk
DAF Young Apprentice of the Year, Ross Green (Chatfields of Sheffield) performed the task of 'cutting the ribbon' on the first day of the Show in the Skills Zone.
"fastFORWARD will be a great benefit to the industry," said Ross. "When my friends and I were thinking about careers a magazine like this would have been a massive help. Also now I am working in the industry I see so many organisations involved in training and recruitment that anyone wanting to enter the industry, or is in the industry and is looking for guidance on training, is faced with a real maze of options and opportunities. fastFORWARD can pull all this information together and should be a must-read for anyone working in the industry or who has even a passing interest in a career in the road transport and logistics."
To compliment the magazine launch a new website went live last week. www.fastforwardcareers.co.uk has a news, advertising and subscription information, plus a downlaodable 16-page careers guide for 16 to 19 year-old school leavers. ROADWAY Publishing's managing editor, Peter Shakespeare said: "It is our intention to link the site to as many careers and recruitment websites as possible over the next few weeks to help raise the industry's profile."
Notes for editors:
